How do the criminal and civil legal systems differ? How do I help someone who needs a restraining order? What does the law say about what programs must or must not do to protect the client’s confidentiality? What can I do to assist pro se victims? Join us to learn the answers to these questions and more. Participants will gain the knowledge, tools and skills needed to advocate for domestic abuse victims within legal systems.
Please note that this event will start at 8:30 AM and continue until 5:30 PM.
