After being blocked through 9 Wisconsin elections, Voter I.D. is now in effect in Wisconsin. Women, minorities, older adults, and people with disabilities may experience unique challenges obtaining the proper identification. What are the potential unintended consequences of the law and how can we help ensure that every eligible citizen has the opportunity to vote? These questions and more will be discussed with representatives of organizations working on voter i.d. outreach and education: Andrea Kaminski, League of Women Voters of Wisconsin; Kristen Hansen, ACLU of Wisconsin; Kit Kerschensteiner, Disability Rights Wisconsin. Learn how you can help raise awareness about these issues and work in your community to GOTV!
